Ma'a Salama

After years of talking about taking a trip, Molly and I have finally committed to it. We're headed out to Tanzania today, making our way down to Mozambique for a couple of days, and ending in South Africa. Stay tuned to this blog for all the randomness we're sure to encounter!

Sidenote: Really looking forward to catching up with old friends in South Africa and drinking LOTS of Savannah cider. And watching Cameroon beat the Netherlands. Which would require Eto'o and Milla to stop bickering over tom foolery, amongst other things...but I digress. Ciao, peoples!

  1. Still super-jealous, have a great one and hopefully those indomitable lions will do something for realz.

  2. Thanks Karas! Sorry to miss your born day festivties - they look like fun.

And Mike, alas, the Lions are my only hope, now that Japan has conspired with FIFA to take Drogba out.

  3. Hi Sofi,

Thanks for describing your experiences so vividly. I read it for a group of your Habesha family and everyone was thrilled. Marie & Samir said that your posts are very good and that you should write a book - I agree. We have been waiting expectantly for more of your posts as we are traveling vicariously through you.

Stay well and enjoy the rest of your trip. We miss you.

    Love,
    Connie
